The current year 2006 is almost entering its last
quarter, and I am showing off some year-and-more old pictures? Well, you asked
for it (at least some of you!). And I promise to set up another page with 2006
pictures a.s.a.p. :-)
Anyway, it was a very good year, when I was seventeen (Sinatra), or whater.

May first is a traditional hiking day in Germany.
Futhermoire, there's the "Weinlagenwanderung", a hike in the vinyards
allowing sampling and sipping some of the liquids produced around here. |

22nd of May we had the annual "closed for cars" hike/cycling/scating
at the Bergstraße between (almost) Darmstadt and Heidelberg. |

Well, talking about wine: The Bergstrasse area
offers a lot wo good white (and discussable red) wines, fresh and fruity.
I thought it might be fun sampling the ones one can get form the supermarket.
But there were just too many, so we sipped at only 11 out of the 16 bottles
I bought. And skipped the brandy as well :-P :-) Anyway, some were good,
some were better - depending on ones own Taste :-) |
